Yonkers Liner Notes: Baroque-style trumpet and organ Due to the very limited number of musical works for trumpet and organ from the Baroque era this nowadays very popular instrument combination could almost be considered a modern trend. However, the interaction of these two instruments produces a blissful sensation of a special kind. The trumpet with its strong, bright and penetrating sound, formerly the instrument of Kings, is combined here with the Queen of instruments, the organ.
